The Celtics will be facing a shorthanded Wolves squad on Wednesday night at TD Garden. Minnesota will be without Mike Conley (rest) and Rudy Gobert (hip) for the matchup at TD Garden. Boston will be playing without Kristaps Porzingis (knee contusion)
Minnesota will be coming into town after dealing with a challenging travel schedule. The Wolves won a game on Tuesday night in Orlando but were not able to fly to Boston due to weather conditions Tuesday night. The delay forced them to make the lengthy three-hour flight on Wednesday morning with Wolves coach Chris Finch stating that they did not make it into Boston until 1 p.m. ET.
Minnesota has not won a game in Boston since 2005. However, they did beat Boston in their first matchup this season on Nov. 6 in an overtime affair that featured a standout performance from Anthony Edwards.
With Porzingis out, Al Horford is expected to start at center while Naz Reid and Kyle Anderson will be candidates for the Wolves to start in place of Conley and Gobert. The two teams tipoff at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday night.
