Aaron Finch will farewell the BBL when the Melbourne Renegades host the Melbourne Stars in a blockbuster derby at Marvel Stadium.
Finch will retire from the Big Bash League after an illustrious one-club career for the Renegades since the BBL’s inception.
Renegades captain Will Sutherland won the bat flip and chose to bowl first.
The last place Renegades are playing for pride, while the fifth place Stars need to win to keep their finals hopes alive.
Shaun Marsh and Jake Fraser McGurk will lead the charge with the bat for the Renegades, while Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa will be key with the ball.
For the Stars Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis have been in good form with the bat, while Scott Boland and Joel Paris have been amongst the wickets.
It sets the scene for a mouth-watering clash in front of a packed house at Marvel Stadium.
