The 2023 NFL season is officially over for the Denver Broncos, with the year ending in disappointment once again for Russell Wilson and company, who were unable to completely right the ship and punch their ticket to the NFL playoffs.

However, the Broncos did come close to turning things around, with the team having quite a resurgence in the second half of the regular season, but the damage was done, and now it’s back to the drawing board for Sean Payton’s team.

On Friday, an announcement was made about which players in the league would be named All-Pros, which is the cream of the crop at each position in the NFL.

Unfortunately for the Broncos, lockdown cornerback Patrick Surtain II was not named an All-Pro, which prompted Wilson to take to Twitter to support his teammate whom he believes was snubbed.

Last year, Surtain was named an All-Pro for his efforts on the football field for the Broncos during the 2022 campaign, as he was one of the best corners in the game.

Ironically enough, Surtain put up similar numbers this season and maintained his reputation as one of the best corners in the NFL, but just fell short of earning All-Pro honors for a second time in his three-year career.

With the 2023 campaign in the books for the Broncos, it’ll be interesting to see what happens in Denver, as it seems as though Wilson could be on his way out, and plenty of changes are expected as Payton continues to mold this team to his liking moving forward.
