Also joining: SaRodorick Thompson (RB) + Racey McMath (WR) \ud83d\udcdd Thompson: Irving, TX native and former Red Raider returning home. \ud83d\udd11 Addition of Thompson doesn\u2019t halt Dalvin Cook interest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McMath played two seasons for the Tennessee Titans, appearing in 14 games from 2021 to 2022. The running back had a standout career at Texas Tech. Thompson\u2019s best statistical season came with the Red Raiders in 2019 after posting 160 carries for 765 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. The playmaker also added 39 receptions for 154 yards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cowboys Rumors: Dallas Is Expressing an Interest in Dalvin Cook<\/strong><br \/>\nThe running back many Cowboys fans are wondering about is Dalvin Cook, who was released by the New York Jets heading into Week 18. Dallas could use some help in the backfield, and the team appears to be sniffing around on Cook. CBS Sports\u2019 Josina Anderson reported that the Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens are two teams who have an interest in Cook.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sarodorick Thompson highlights! We\u2019ll see where other interest could also develop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Dallas Cowboys Signed Former Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Starting Linebacker Damien Wilson<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Cowboys also added linebacker Damien Wilson after the team hosted him for a January 2 workout with La\u2019el Collins. The defender went on to play two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. Wilson was a two-year starter in Kansas City, including on the Super Bowl team in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>As for Thompson, NFL.com\u2019s Lance Zierlein described the running back as \u201ctough and strong\u201d heading into the 2023 draft. The rookie provides some insurance as Rico Dowdle has been dealing with an injury.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s tough and strong, but he would benefit from a more aggressive approach,\u201d Zierlein detailed in Thompson\u2019s pre-draft profile. \u201cIndecisiveness and dancing will cost him yardage against faster, more talented fronts in the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019ll likely need to show he can get downhill and utilize his power to finish if he\u2019s going to stick on an NFL roster. Thompson has limited special teams experience, but he has the demeanor to contribute via that phase of the game.
